Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-06-16

First draft pending legal review. These terms govern the maltogroup.com website only — any consulting engagement is governed by a separate written agreement.

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of maltogroup.com (the "Site"), operated by MALTO Group Inc. ("MALTO Group," "we," "us"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About these Terms

These Terms cover only your use of the Site. They do not govern any consulting, staffing, training, or other professional services we provide; those engagements are governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties. Nothing on the Site constitutes a binding offer to provide services.

2. Use of the Site

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view the Site for your personal or internal business information purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or these Terms;
  • Copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or commercially exploit Site content without our prior written consent, other than ordinary browser caching and standard sharing of public URLs;
  • Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content using automated tools, except for legitimate search-engine indexing that respects robots.txt;
  • Attempt to interfere with, probe, or test the security of the Site, or bypass access controls;
  • Upload, transmit, or introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any individual or entity.

3. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, photographs, software, the MALTO Group name, and any associated marks — is owned by MALTO Group Inc. or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted in these Terms, no right or license is granted to use any of our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

Names, logos, and marks of third parties that may appear on the Site are the property of their respective owners.

4. Information you submit

If you submit a contact form, send us an email, or otherwise provide information through the Site, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you have the right to share it. Personal information you submit is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By providing feedback, ideas, or suggestions through the Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use that feedback for any legitimate business purpose, without obligation to you.

5. No professional advice

Content on the Site is provided for general information only. It does not constitute legal, accounting, tax, regulatory, financial, or other professional advice. You should not act or refrain from acting on the basis of Site content without seeking professional advice tailored to your circumstances.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and all content on it are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the Site will be free of errors, defects, or security vulnerabilities.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MALTO Group Inc., its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity — arising from or relating to your use of the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our aggregate liability for any direct damages arising from your use of the Site shall not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; if any such limitation cannot be enforced, our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.

8. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We provide these links for convenience only; their inclusion does not imply endorsement. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites and you access them at your own risk.

9. Changes to the Site and to these Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site, or any part of it, at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after revisions indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that the courts of Ontario shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site.

11. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. These Terms — together with our Privacy Policy — constitute the entire agreement between you and MALTO Group Inc. regarding your use of the Site.
